Security & Compliance

OPUS only uses suppliers of UK based cloud hosting who are certified against ISO27001, ISO9001, ISO27018 and Cyber Essentials Plus and have infrastructure which has been assessed and approved by NCSC.


All data is transferred over https or sftp using TLS v1.2 or TLS v1.3 encryption using cyphers recommended by NSCS. Customer SFTP connections to OPUS servers are chrooted and require IP whitelisting. Data at rest is stored on encrypted storage devices using an AES-256 cipher.

"The Hertfordshire Shared Anti-Fraud Service (SAFS) have been using Opus since 2019 when we migrated from our previous CMS, a process that was efficient and painless with OPUSs support. Opus allows us to customise the CMS to our needs allowing us great flexibility with custom data, and OPUS have been happy to work with us to develop the system to our needs. We are able to run all of our investigations from referral to disposal using the system in virtual environment with largely paperless requirements. As well we managing individual investigations or large projects using the CMS we are able to design reports to monitor the progress with investigations, officer performance against personal objectives, service performance and granular MI which is essential for a shared service working across multiple clients all demanding individual service plans.”
